The Shilla Seoul said on Wednesday that its Korean restaurant La Yeon, French restaurant Continental, Japanese restaurant Ariake and Chinese restaurant Palsun all made the world's top 1,000 list at the "LA LISTE 2027 Restaurants Korea Awards" held Tuesday. LA LISTE is a French gastronomy rating organization that publishes annual rankings based on a comprehensive assessment of food, service, customer experience and expert reviews at restaurants in some 200 countries.
La Yeon became the first restaurant in Korea to be listed on LA LISTE in 2017 and has held its place since, while also remaining among the world's top 200 restaurants since 2019. Continental and Ariake have been on the world's top 1,000 list since 2019, and Palsun since 2023.
An official at The Shilla Seoul said, "This award is a meaningful achievement that recognizes internationally the differentiated gastronomic experience and customer-focused service The Shilla Seoul has pursued," adding, "We will continue to strengthen our world-class culinary content and service competitiveness."
