Apple announces ‘pro and tell’ event next week

Apple’s ‘pro and tell’ event is slated for next week, with the announcement shared by Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, Greg “Joz” Joswiak.

As is the iPhone-maker’s usual tactic, a short and cryptic teaser video showed an animation of the Apple logo.

It did not reveal what products or announcements could be made at the event.

However, many users are expecting a new, revamped MacBook Pro, with analysts predicting that an OLED display and touchscreen could be in the works.

The prices of Apple’s existing MacBook products have risen substantially, with former CEO Tim Cook citing a memory chip crunch.

During an earlier product event this month, Apple unveiled the HomeView smart home device powered by AI.

If Apple proceeds to unveil a new MacBook Pro at the ‘Pro and tell’ event next week, this will mark new CEO John Ternus’s first laptop launch event, coming around a month after his debut iPhone launch event.
