KUALA LUMPUR: Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd has been named among the Top 10 developers in the Top of the Chart category for companies with a market capitalisation of RM1 billion and above at the Malaysia Developer Awards (MDA) 2026.
The recognition marks another milestone for the property developer as it celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, highlighting its track record in financial performance, innovation and community-focused development.
The MDA serves as an industry benchmark for property developers, recognising achievements across quantitative, qualitative and Top of the Chart categories.
Matrix Concepts' latest accolade comes as the group marks three decades of growth, having evolved from a property developer rooted in Negeri Sembilan into a diversified group with interests spanning property development, construction, education, hospitality and healthcare.
Group managing director Kelvin Lee said the recognition was a meaningful milestone as the company celebrates its achievements while preparing for its next phase of growth.
"Being recognised among Malaysia's Top 10 developers is a meaningful achievement for Matrix, as it reflects the dedication of our people, partners and communities who have been part of our journey and contributed to the progress we have made over the years.
"As we mark 30 years, we are proud of what we have built, but equally focused on what lies ahead. We will continue to strengthen our townships, create places that respond to the evolving needs of communities and pursue opportunities that deliver long-term value for our stakeholders," he said.
Over the years, Matrix Concepts has built a portfolio of townships and developments that have grown alongside the communities they serve.
Bandar Sri Sendayan in Negeri Sembilan remains a key example of this approach, having evolved into an established township with residential, commercial, education, hospitality and healthcare offerings.
Building on this experience, the company is advancing its next phase of development through projects targeting emerging growth areas.
In Negeri Sembilan, MVV City is being developed as a large-scale integrated development spanning 964 hectares (ha) with an estimated gross development value of RM15 billion, bringing together industrial, residential and commercial components.
Anchored by MVV TechValley, the development is positioned to support new business activity, investment and employment opportunities in the region.
In Johor, Bandar Seri Impian II will build on Matrix Concepts' established presence in Kluang. Spanning 125 ha, the English-inspired township is targeted for launch in October 2026. Its first phase will comprise 213 landed homes, alongside community and lifestyle amenities, including X Park, an upcoming hypermarket and the upgrading of the 5.46ha Lake Park.
The company is also extending its presence in the Klang Valley with Levia Residence in Puchong, a RM750 million high-rise development comprising 1,336 units and located approximately 250 metres from the Pusat Bandar Puchong LRT station.
Together, these developments reflect Matrix Concepts' strategy of building on established townships while pursuing new opportunities in areas with growth potential.
As the group enters its next chapter, the MDA 2026 recognition adds to its industry accolades and underscores the platform it has established over the past three decades.
With 30 years of experience as its foundation, Matrix Concepts remains focused on creating places that respond to how people live, work and connect, while continuing to grow its business and deliver lasting value to its communities and stakeholders.
