Bitcoin Price Prediction: Strategy Chairman Calls $100K BTC

Bitcoin is trading near $83,500 after recovering from a liquidation-driven slide toward $81,000. Strategy executive chairman Michael Saylor sees Bitcoin returning above $100,000 in his latest price prediction.

Saylor told Bloomberg Television that Bitcoin’s bear market had ended and that the price should move back into six figures. The rebound followed reported liquidations exceeding $770 million, with leveraged longs taking most of the hit. The recovery is constructive, but BTC has not cleared $84,000, and spot ETF outflows remain a demand headwind.

The next near-term test is the U.S. inflation report due October 14. A hotter reading could lift Treasury yields and pressure risk assets, while a cooler print may ease that constraint. A six-figure forecast needs sustained demand, not just a relief bounce.

Bitcoin Price Prediction: Will BTC Hit $100,000 After Reclaiming $84,000?

BTC’s move from roughly $81,000 to the low $83,000s has repaired some short-term damage, but the price remains below the $84,000–$84,500 resistance area. Bitcoin also sits above its 30-day simple moving average near $83,051, which is encouraging.

Support is clustered around $82,500, with a deeper short-term line at $81,300–$81,500. A sustained break above $84,000–$84,500 would improve momentum and put the $84,000–$87,000 resistance band in play.

What would invalidate that setup? A loss of $81,300 could expose support near the 50-day EMA at $80,276 and the SuperTrend around $79,664.

• Bull case: Inflation eases, ETF flows stabilize, and BTC reclaims $84,500, opening a test of higher resistance.
• Base case: Price consolidates between approximately $82,500 and $84,500 as traders await macro data and evidence of renewed demand.
• Bear case: A break below $81,300 raises the risk of a deeper pullback toward $80,000 and $79,600.

That leaves Saylor’s $100,000 Bitcoin call as a longer-horizon view, not a near-term level price prediction. Neither resolves the immediate question: can buyers absorb supply above $84,000?

Bitcoin Hyper Targets Early Mover Upside as Bitcoin Tests Key Levels

The rebound gives BTC bulls a reason to stay engaged, but a move from the low $80,000s to $100,000 still depends on fresh catalysts and durable spot demand.

If the market stalls below resistance, traders looking for a different risk profile may turn to early-stage infrastructure where potential upside comes with materially higher execution and adoption risk.

Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) is a Bitcoin Layer 2 project built around SVM integration, positioning itself as the first Bitcoin Layer 2 with SVM. It aims to add fast smart contracts and low-cost transaction execution while retaining Bitcoin’s security and trust.

The project lists its token at $0.0136875 with more than $33 million raised. It also offers a high 30% APY staking, only for presale buyers, alongside a decentralized canonical bridge for BTC transfers.
