A voice note and an X post attributed to Pandit named him and Harman Sandhu as being responsible for the firing near Pushpa Narsee Park, according to the TOI report.

The police said that Anmol Bishnoi, who is the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, wrote about the firing incident on Facebook and used threatening language against the actor.
