The deeply emotional moment unfolded when the family gathered, and one sibling walked in dancing, with a mother's tribute song filling the room. Keeza, seated and entirely unsuspecting, could barely hold herself together once the meaning of the gesture sank in.
Why did Keeza take over caring for her siblings
The family lost their mother in 2015, and rather than let her younger siblings fend for themselves, Keeza made a quiet but life-changing decision to step in.

She became their caregiver, their confidante and their emotional anchor, filling a role no child should have to take on.
"When our mother died in 2015, I quickly stepped up, and I raised my siblings. I became the mother we no longer had. Here my brother surprised me by dedicating a mum's song to me," she said.
In the TikTok video, the siblings gathered around her as one brother entered the room dancing. Keeza covered her face with her hands as the tears fell.
Her brother knelt before her and pulled her into a hug, and the two held each other, crying openly. He then helped her to her feet and they danced and sang together, laughing through the tears in a tender exchange that neither tried to hide.
Keeza later reflected on what those years meant to her.
"All these years I have given them a shoulder to cry on and created a safe place for them to feel comfortable and loved. I have ensured that I create many good memories with them and keep them together. God, I love my family," she wrote.
How Viewers Responded
The video struck a raw nerve with many viewers who recognised similar sacrifices in their own families.
Mrs Spinks 🇰🇪 America US:
"I wish my brothers could do the same to me; I lost both parents in 2010. Educated them, got them jobs, built them a home; I lost my job, and everyone ran away; no one ever checked up on me. I got back on my feet again, and I don't know how to think about them."
Peggie:
"Hoping she gets or already has a husband that will love her right and lift that weight off her heart and shoulder."
Lizbeth:
"She really deserves a crown; she must be a firstborn just like me."
Blessed:
"My brother became my father when our dad neglected and abandoned us; he paid my school fees and brought me to the USA. I am hoping to build him a house and purchase him a car. He never left my side in the hardest moments. Love you, my brother. May God bless you always. Mukama akumpere obulamu ne sente mukwano."
