We can’t be the only ones dreaming about how we’d live if we won the lottery. If you’re in the same boat, there’s a gorgeous castle in Canada to keep an eye on if you ever win millions.
One of the most expensive Airbnb listings in Canada right now is Chateau Okanagan in B.C.
Located in Kelowna, right on Okanagan Lake, the entire chalet can comfortably accommodate 16 guests, with eight bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms, according to the listing.
Set on 44 acres of lush lakeside property, the estate offers plenty of room to roam, with trails, secluded coves and five scenic beaches to explore.
A three-night stay costs $13,866.67 before taxes and fees, bringing the total to a jaw-dropping $48,256 for a long weekend getaway.
But hey, 50 grand is practically pocket change if you win a $55-million jackpot, right?
Here’s a look inside if you’re curious about what that kind of money could get you.
Even though the lake is just steps away from the property, the chalet does have two pools — one lap and one infinity — that overlook it, in case you prefer to swim without all the fish.

Airbnb
The living room — complete with a cozy fireplace — has an old-fashioned charm, with a regal feel and decor that would probably earn your grandmother’s stamp of approval.

The views from the living room are worth every penny, if you ask us.

The bedrooms are about the size of an average condo apartment downtown. Each includes a King-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom with a stand-alone shower and bathtub, a walk-in closet, and a balcony.

One of the bedrooms is basically a corner office, complete with windows and gorgeous views of Okanagan Lake. Just imagine how dreamy it will be stargazing at night, all bundled up like a human burrito.

The best part about this place is that you don’t have to lift a finger in the kitchen. The property offers a private chef and waitstaff, so you can sit back and enjoy the royal treatment. According to the listing, all on-site meal and beverage services are arranged in advance with the property manager.

With a chalet this size, of course there are multiple dining rooms. There are three spots where groups can eat, either inside or outdoors.

The bathrooms are bright and airy, with big windows that let in plenty of natural light. You just can’t help but feel like a damsel in a Jane Austen novel while you soak in the tub.

There’s even a billiards room, because, of course, it’s something every chalet should have.

Same goes for a private spa, wine cellar, and a movie theatre. Basically everything you need so you never have to leave for the next three or so days.

For those who are sporty in addition to being filthy rich, the chalet comes with a private tennis court. If you want to bring a pro like Venus or Serena over to come teach you a lesson, it’ll cost you extra.

So far, the property has just one Airbnb review, which, given its eye-watering price tag, isn’t entirely surprising.
Still, the lone reviewer had nothing but praise for the “magnificent place,” the kind hosts and chef, and, of course, the spectacular views.
If you like what you see, feel free to bookmark the property for that day you strike gold in Canada.
