The Comu Action Pro doesn't just record meetings; it turns them into deliverables

Attending a meeting is the easy part; it’s what comes after that’s more complicated. It's where the real work and the true frustration lie. If one or more people took notes, they need to be collated and processed into meeting minutes. If the meeting was recorded, someone must painstakingly transcribe that audio, or at the very least, summarize it into useful meeting minutes.

Modern AI transcription tools can be a huge help, turning meeting audio into searchable text, but that just saves you some manual labor. Intelligence must still be applied to that text to make sense of it and create real insight.

The Comu Action Pro is a pocket-sized AI recorder that bridges the gap between capturing what’s said in a meeting and creating meaningful, actionable insights from those words.

The Comu Action Pro is more than a simple voice recorder

At first glance, you can’t tell that the Comu Action Pro is something special. It’s a slick, unassuming device that blends in with your other modern technology. Attach it magnetically to the back of a phone, and no one would look twice.

However, underneath that slick exterior is far more than just a voice recorder. An advanced microphone array helps capture conversations clearly and reduce transcription errors. There’s also a dedicated directional microphone so you can deliberately target a specific speaker while cutting out background noise.

The 0.95-inch OLED display provides essential information about how the recording is going without the need to constantly access a companion app. You can just focus on the meeting, knowing the Comu Action Pro is recording at a glance.

Operating the device couldn’t be easier. Just hold the record button for two seconds, and a recording will start, confirmed by a vibration. You can pause and resume the recording with a single button press, so it doesn’t matter how many breaks there are during long meetings. It will all still be one unified recording. To finalize a recording and save it, simply hold the record button again until the unit vibrates.

A magnetic attachment ring also opens a variety of ways to attach or position the Action Pro while traveling or recording.

With up to 70 hours of battery life, those cursed with a particularly high number of meetings to attend can record them with confidence, knowing that recharging is something that happens infrequently.

This excellent hardware base ensures the recording phase goes off without a hitch, but once your Comu Action Pro’s companion app comes into play, the true value of this AI recorder becomes apparent.

An AI assistant that turns conversations into something useful

With the meeting safely captured, Comu’s AI technology takes charge. It analyzes the transcript and generates meeting summaries, identifies key decisions, and extracts actionable items that have to be completed before the next meeting.

Comu also offers an amazing speaker labeling feature. This helps you trace specific comments back to a particular speaker. The custom vocabulary function is another great feature. It’s not uncommon for specific technical jargon to be said in a meeting of experts, so you can teach Comu what these terms are, and in future meetings it will use that knowledge in its transcriptions and other outputs.

Instead of poring over hours of transcribed text looking for what’s important, you can get straight to working on the actual goals after forwarding a concise report to everyone who needs it.

Speaking of which, the Comu Action Pro can do some of that after-meeting work without your assistance. It can turn the contents of a meeting into a follow-up email, CRM notes, a document, or even a draft PowerPoint presentation. The device can also extract decisions and next steps, create calendar events, and help you prepare for upcoming meetings.

So, rather than just documenting a meeting, Comu is acting on that information and making all the stakeholders more productive.

Built for people whose jobs revolve around conversations

So many professions revolve around conversations between people. The value and information used to do the work almost all happens within the context of spoken in-person conversations.

Take sales professionals as prime examples. They drive from place to place, meeting with clients, having discussions about their needs, making deals, and generally plying their trade using the gift of speech.

With a Comu Action Pro by your side, sales professionals can concentrate all their energy on closing that deal or taking care of that customer, and none on jotting down the details or remembering every point. At the end of the day, anything said will be neatly formatted and waiting for action. No more forgotten deadlines or spending time updating CRM based on manual transcripts or going through hours of recordings.

Consultants have a very similar set of needs, and spend most of their time in conversation with clients as they hash out pain points and strategies. A Comu Action Pro means spending time providing the most valuable part of the service, and a minimum of time on administration and other annoying busywork.

Managers of teams or team leaders can also benefit from Comu’s technology. It’s a fantastic way to ensure everyone is on board with what needs to be done. Say goodbye to misremembered verbal agreements and confused timelines.

Why use a dedicated AI recorder instead of another app?

At this point, you might be thinking this all sounds great, but why do you have to buy a dedicated device? Smartphones can record sound just fine, and the AI component of the service is internet-based anyway. So why can’t it just be an app?

For some people who only need the occasional recording processed, that’s a fair point. However, the Comu Action Pro is a robust, intuitive, and effective workhorse. It will still be working when your phone’s battery is dead. And it will record audio with more clarity than any smartphone’s microphone can manage; its dedicated microphone array is designed to capture meeting audio more clearly and consistently than relying on a typical smartphone alone. Perhaps most importantly, it’s faster and more convenient to use, which matters when you’re recording five or six meetings a day.

Spend less time processing meetings and more time getting things done

A meeting is meant to be the jumping-off point to progress on the actual goals of your business or organization. A meeting itself isn’t productive. It’s a necessary companion to progress.

In reality, meetings have a tendency to become the end goal rather than a means to an end. If your meetings aren’t helping you make decisions, solve problems, or otherwise move forward, you have a major issue.

The latest AI technology can maximize the benefits of meetings and the time and energy you have to actually do the work that needs to be done. With a Comu Action Pro, you’ll soon see what real progress can do for you.

As a special offer to Pocket-lint readers (that’s you!), Comu is offering an additional $10 discount on the Action Pro, bringing the final price to $169.99. All you need to do is use the code POCLINT10 to secure this introductory deal.
