The Miami Dolphins, through the five weeks of their 2026 campaign, have yet to win a game, and with the toughest schedule in the league, things are going to get much easier when they come off their bye week.
With that, Miami should be prioritizing their future, especially when it comes to players on one-year deals. If teams come calling about guys with just a single year left on their contracts, the Dolphins should strongly consider making a deal.
This week, Bleacher Report's Alex Kay suggested that Miami should trade linebacker Joshua Uche to the Baltimore Ravens for a 2027 sixth-round pick.
Uche, 28, joined the Dolphins on a one-year, $1.4 million deal this offseason. The former second-round pick had stints with the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles before coming to South Florida.
In five games so far this season, Uche has recorded 20 tackles, four quarterback hits, one sack, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery while playing 63% of the team's defensive snaps. He's on pace to set a career-high in tackles and is on pace to have his second-most sacks and quarterback hits in a season.
Miami should have the money and draft capital to address their pass rush next offseason. Uche probably isn't part of their long-term plans, so if they can get a pick back for him, they might want to consider that.
