Social media activist VeryDarkMan has criticised the Nigerian government following reports of the death of gospel artiste Toluwanisings, alleging that the singer was unable to obtain medical treatment after being taken to several hospitals.
The activist claimed that the artiste was rushed to about seven hospitals but could not receive the necessary care because the facilities were reportedly affected by industrial action.
In a video circulating online on Friday, VeryDarkMan argued that the singer might have survived if the hospitals had been operational and able to provide timely medical attention.
He cited the incident as an example of the challenges Nigerians face when seeking emergency healthcare, particularly when medical facilities are unable to provide essential services.
Reacting to the reported death, VeryDarkMan accused the government of failing to address problems within the country’s healthcare system.

The activist argued that poor access to medical services continues to expose Nigerians to avoidable risks, especially when urgent treatment is required.
He also urged Nigerians to take responsibility for demanding improvements in governance, describing the situation as evidence of what he considers government failure.
“If we don’t save ourselves from this evil government, no one will,” he said.
