The Chief Executive Officer of InfoTrust Property Consultants, Mrs. Halera Miriam has urged entrepreneurs to embrace digital marketing and separate business from personal life if they are to succeed in today's competitive market.
She made the remarks during the Salam Breakfast Meeting with Twaha Mukiibi, where she was hosted to discuss business growth and real estate innovation.
According to Mrs. Halera, InfoTrust Property Consultants will hold a business masterclass on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., focusing mainly on marketing businesses through digital platforms to keep pace with global digital trends.
She revealed that the company has introduced a new initiative dubbed Buy & Build with InfoTrust Property Consultants, where the company builds and sells all essential construction materials at an affordable price.
"When you purchase land from one of our estates for only shs10Million, we will construct for you a house with two bedrooms, a sitting room, kitchen, and an indoor toilet and bathroom, up to wall-plate level and we can negotiate to do even more than that," she said.
Mrs. Halera added that the company provides clients with a digital camera system accessible on their phones for easy monitoring of construction progress at their sites to ensure standard and professional work.
She noted that the Buy and Build Estates initiative currently has about 25 houses under construction across their different estates. These include the shs9 million package where a client pays shs19million and a house is constructed up to wall-plate level and the shs19 million package where a client pays shs29 million for the same stage.
After the wall-plate stage, she said the company negotiates with the client on their preferred house design and type of iron sheets before proceeding to complete the house at an agreed affordable price.
On the upcoming masterclass, Mrs. Halera announced that this year's edition will be held at Hotel Africana on 25th October 2026 under the theme "Be Seen, Be Chosen & Be Paid." The event will feature expert guest speakers, including businesswoman Zari Hassan Lutaaya.
"The reason I started the masterclass is that people always approach me wherever they meet me to ask how they can succeed in their various businesses and that is how I came up with the idea," she explained.
She added that she also has mentors who help her grow her business skills, and she wants to share them with others to help them grow their businesses. She advised entrepreneurs to always know their target audience before creating content.
Mrs. Halera further emphasized the need to separate business from other aspects of social life such as family and private life, noting that even when one runs different businesses, they must be differentiated during advertising because they offer different services.
