Rovisenuo Hibo crowned Miss Kohima 2026

Our CorrespondentKohima | October 13Rovisenuo Hibo was crowned Miss Kohima 2026 at the Miss Kohima Beauty Pageant held on October 13 at the Regional Centre for Excellence in Music and Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma, under the theme “Beyond the Crown.”Hibo, 20, is a student of Kohima Science College, Jotsoma. She was crowned by Miss Kohima 2025, Ritsala Thonger.Sunepjungla Kichu and Thejazenuo Angami, both students of St Joseph’s College, Jakhama, were adjudged the first and second runners-up respectively.They were crowned by Miss Kohima 2025 first runner-up Neilanuo Sachü and Miss Kohima 2025 second runner-up Kechangunuo Kelio respectively.The subtitle winners include Miss Perfect 10-Sunepjungla Kichu, Miss Multimedia-Rovisenuo Hibo, Queen of Hearts-Thejazenuo Angami, Best Advocacy- Lumvila T Sangtam (St Joseph’s College Jakhama) and Miss Talent- Vinika P Kiba (St Joseph’s College Jakhama).Organised by 4Front Event Management in collaboration with Sazolie College, Jotsoma as the host college, the show was graced by Maj Gen Harinder Singh Mavi, Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North) as the special guest. Dr Gopal Chetri, Principal, Sazolie College also spoke at the show.20 contestants walk the ramp in evening gown segment, designed by TS Academy of Design Faculties.The judges for the show included Veineinem Singson Haolai, Sekuzo Sovenyi,  Suyimtenla Jamir, Keziah Mero and Nikali Shohe.Benchumo, Nchumbemo, Tsiphrino, Daniel Basnet and Sangtila performed at the show. Earlier, Theja Sekhose, Show Director and Co-Founder of 4Front Event Management delivered welcome address while Peweu Tunyi Khamo, Co-Founder, 4Front Event Management delivered vote of thanks. Anon Wangshu assisted the show as host.Miss Kohima 2026 edition reflected a celebration of beauty, confidence, talent, leadership and purpose.
