OPINION | Dr Rumman Chowdhury says Australia needs a national strategy to protect public trust, ensure accountability, and regulate rapidly advancing AI.

Chowdhury was the US science envoy for AI during the Biden administration and has become a leading voice in the world calling for systematic AI governance.
