Entrepreneur Ashneer Grover recently took people inside DLF Camellias in Gurugram, offering a glimpse of a luxury residential complex. The society shot to fame for its INR 100-crore tag which is justified because of an exclusive clubhouse, an Olympic-sized swimming pool and a snow room too! The society is also known for its bowling alley and private movie theatre.
It’s a tour that most were waiting for to understand why the development has become synonymous with ultra-luxury real estate in India.“It is a very private place. It doesn't look like India. You are paying premium for that,” Grover says in the tour video. The video was shared on YouTube by his wife, Madhuri Jain Grover, on October 17. Since then, it has drawn significant attention to one of the country's most expensive residential addresses.
As per reports, some apartments here are valued at more than ₹100 crore.Inside the world of DLF Camellias

DLF Camellias (Official)
DLF Camellias is part of DLF's super-luxury residential portfolio. It is located on Golf Course Road in Gurugram and the project brings together high-rise residences, green surroundings, golf-course views. The extensive luxury facilities provided here are hard to find elsewhere, according to Grover. The official website of DLF mentions that the development features 16 towers ranging from 18 to 38 storeys, with the tallest reaching 156 metres.
In his tour video, Grover shows several luxury facilities offered inside the society. These include an Olympic-sized swimming pool, fitness and wellness facilities, an indoor bowling alley, a snow room (which he says is his favourite), a world-class private cinema and spaces for dining and social gatherings. The scale of the clubhouse is particularly significant. Rather than treating recreational facilities as an add-on, the project integrates them into the residential experience, allowing residents to access leisure, entertainment and wellness amenities within the complex.

Grover also highlighted the privacy and exclusivity which comes with such a price tag. For buyers spending tens of crores on a home, the appeal is not limited to interiors or square footage. The reason behind ₹100 crore value
At this level of the market, the price of a property depends on several factors:
- Location
- Size
- Configuration
- Views
- Design
- Exclusivity
- Luxury amenities
The size and configuration of the residences also distinguish Camellias from conventional apartments. Large-format homes, duplexes and penthouses offer considerably more living space, while select residences benefit from expansive views and a more private residential setting. However, the reported ₹100-crore valuation is not a uniform price for every apartment. And that’s why Grover says they are ‘paying a premium’.More than just a home

One of the most interesting parts of Grover's tour video is the way it presents the development as a destination in itself. There’s a clubhouse, different swimming pools, spa and sauna room, along with entertainment spaces. The piano room, fine-dining restaurant, and meeting space just add to overall appeal. For the luxury housing segment, such features add another dimension to the conversation around value, although the long-term performance of a property also depends on management standards, maintenance and continued demand. As India's wealthiest homebuyers seek increasingly differentiated residential experiences, projects such as DLF Camellias are setting new benchmarks for what developers can offer — and for how much buyers may be willing to pay. Ashneer Grover's reaction may have bought the development into limelight (once again), but it's story is more about a real estate sector changing the idea of what an exclusive home should offer. In Gurugram, that idea now extends well beyond the apartment door.
