When Ofweneke asked whether she had given up on love, especially now that her children have grown and left home, Gituro was quick to set the record straight.
She said she had not lost hope but clarified that any future arrangement would feel more like companionship than a traditional relationship. She also joked that if she ever got married, she would likely forget she had a husband altogether, having grown so accustomed to her independence.
The conversation took a lighter turn when Ofweneke asked if she missed being pampered. Gituro admitted she did but questioned whether a Kenyan man was even capable of delivering what she described as the "baby girl treatment", suggesting that a white man might be better suited for the role.
Things got even more interesting when Ofweneke asked her when someone had last called her "babe."
Without missing a beat, Gituro revealed that such messages arrive frequently in her inbox, often from people she does not know at all.
Most of them, she said, turn out to be Gen Zs, and she was particularly amused by their boldness. She noted that when she points out their lack of manners, they simply tell her not to worry about manners.
"I don't even know them. Most of them are Gen Zs. And they are so bold. You tell them they are mannerless, and they say don't look at the manners," she said.
The clip drew a wave of reactions online, with followers sharing their own takes on the situation.
