Seoul's Jongno District will hold the 5th K-Jewelry Jongno Festival on the 24th around the Jongno 3-ga jewelry industry special district.
Donhwamun-ro 10-gil will feature 14 hands-on programs, including jewelry making, along with demonstrations by master craftsmen and services for initial engraving and cleaning.
Seosunra-gil will host a jewelry auction and a runway show, while the Ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong and the Dorothy showroom will present a special exhibition of global gems and minerals and offer free gemstone appraisals.
Twenty jewelry companies will operate pop-up stores, and nearby shops will sell products at discounts of 10% to 20%.
Visitors who spend 30,000 won or more at the venue will be entered into a prize drawing, and the event will also include a wedding ring giveaway offering 14-karat couple rings and a treasure hunt.
