A speaker from the Bharatiya Janata Party launched a detailed attack on the Congress leadership, claiming the party has consistently failed in attempts to launch Rahul Gandhi politically. Citing his past association with British firm BackOps, the speaker argued that Congress has witnessed its lowest seat tally under his leadership. The address referenced Congress's past political experiments, including democratization of the Youth Congress and selection processes for candidates, asserting they all proved ineffective. The speaker further cited observations about Rahul Gandhi from former US President Barack Obama's book 'The Promised Land' and leaked diplomatic cables. Allegations were also made that Rahul Gandhi regularly meets suspicious entities abroad and attacks constitutional institutions, including the judiciary, legislature, and Election Commission. Contrasting Rahul Gandhi's leadership with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the speaker stated Congress must decide whether to align with constitutional institutions or sink further politically.

Delhi Air Quality in 'Poor' Category, GRAP 1 Invoked as Stubble Burning Continues
Delhi NCR is witnessing deteriorating air conditions as the Air Quality Index enters the poor category, prompting the invocation of Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) Stage 1 measures across the national capital region. The Commission for Air Quality Management has reviewed stubble burning control measures with the Punjab and Haryana state governments, emphasizing the necessity of ground action and effective crop residue management. Data indicates that over 450 farm fire incidents have been recorded in Punjab over the past month. Concurrently, the Delhi Transport Association has urged the government to conduct a 15-day scientific pilot prior to implementing vehicular curbs, warning of potential spikes in transportation costs and disruption to essential goods supplies. Meteorological forecasts from the India Meteorological Department project calm wind conditions, which could worsen pollutant concentration and trigger further curbs under GRAP 2 and GRAP 3. Authorities have urged residents to adhere to anti-pollution guidelines, avoid using non-compliant vehicles, and halt open garbage burning.
