Coupang Fulfillment Services has introduced an open recruitment program for graduates of two-year colleges.
The logistics arm of Coupang (CPNG) said on the 21st that it is conducting additional recruitment for the first cohort of its "Logistics Leader START" program from that day through Nov. 8. The company created the program when it launched its open recruitment track for associate degree holders. Under the structure, graduates join as full-time "team captains," gain field experience and leadership skills, and can advance into managers overseeing large organizations. The company accepted applications from Sept. 22 through Oct. 11 and decided to run an additional round to expand its selection of young talent.
Eligible applicants are holders of an associate degree with no experience or up to three years of work experience, as well as those scheduled to graduate in February 2027. Preference goes to applicants who majored in logistics or distribution, hold related certifications, have experience in field operations or safety management, or have strong office automation skills.
Team captains, the position being filled, handle core operations at fulfillment centers nationwide, including management of logistics processes such as receiving, storage and outbound shipping, as well as on-site safety and people management. Applicants can choose their preferred region and center among the company's major fulfillment centers across the country. Successful candidates take part in a separate onboarding program after joining.
"Through this open recruitment for associate degree holders, we will support more young people in starting their careers as full-time team captains and growing into logistics professionals," said Park Soo-hyun, chief human resources officer at Coupang Fulfillment Services.
