According to Finbold’s predictive artificial intelligence (AI) system, the downturn gripping XRP since the start of October is likely to halt, but not reverse, by November 1, 2026.
Indeed, after examining a variety of technical analysis (TA) indicators, including oscillators, moving averages (MA), and the relative strength index (RSI), the Finbold AI agent determined XRP is likely to descend 0.23% – effectively remain flat – to $1.31 by the start of next month.
Alphabet’s (NASDAQ: GOOGL) model, Google Gemini, proved the most bearish out of the five included in the system, as it forecasted a 4.2% drop to $1.26 as the most likely trajectory for the popular cryptocurrency.
ChatGPT-5.6 Terra was close behind, since its XRP price target for November 1, 2026, stood at $1.29, 1.91% below the October 19 press time price of $1.31.
China’s most recognizable AI platform, DeepSeek, was the third and last of the models to forecast a continued downtrend with an estimated 1.15% drop to $1.30 by the start of the next month.
Meanwhile, OpenAI’s two other variants, Luna and Sol, came in as substantially more bullish, with the former predicting a 2.29% rise to $1.34 by November 1, and the latter a 3.82% rally to $1.36 – the highest price target out of the five.
XRP price performance
After rising a total of more than 56% to near $1.57 between mid-August and late September, XRP entered a downtrend that took it 16.18% lower overall, and 11.68% lower in October to $1.31 at press time.
Notably, such performance means that even the most optimistic model in Finbold’s predictive AI system – ChatGPT-5.6 Sol – does not estimate that the cryptocurrency will rally back to its recent highs and will instead remain 12.99% lower by November 1, 2026.
Elsewhere, some human analysts remain more bullish than artificial intelligence models.
Why XRP could soar to $2 in October
Specifically, the popular trading expert Ali Martinez shared a series of X posts early on Monday, October 19, claiming that as long as XRP remains above $1.25, it retains the capacity for a strong rebound.
The analyst revealed that successfully holding the level would complete a potential inverse head-and-shoulders pattern and pave the way for a climb to $1.56, which could, in turn, lead to a 28.21% upsurge to $2.
4/5 For $XRP, I’m watching $1.25. Holding this level could complete the right shoulder of a potential inverse head-and-shoulders pattern on the 3-day chart.

The rebound would still need confirmation: a sustained close above $1.56 could open the path to $2.

Still, Martinez also warned that a drop below $1.25 would instead set the new XRP price target at $1.
