President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the FM World agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprise in Karshi, Kashkadarya region, to inspect its production facilities and finished equipment, according to the presidential press service. The enterprise, established with $20mn in foreign investment, is part of Jiangsu World Group, a corporation ranked among China's 500 largest private enterprises.
The FM World project covers an area of five hectares, including 12,000 square meters of production facilities. The enterprise has created 200 jobs, while certain manufacturing processes have been automated. Currently, FM World assembles five tractor models under the Nasaf brand, along with cotton-picking machines and other agricultural equipment.

The tractors are equipped with GPS navigation, autopilot systems, fertilizer application controls and remote monitoring technology. These systems are designed to support precision agricultural operations and reduce fuel and other resource consumption. The enterprise also conducts regular training sessions covering field maintenance, early fault detection and the safe operation of agricultural machinery.
The current localization rate for tractor assembly at FM World stands at 30%. The enterprise independently manufactures 138 types of parts and components used in its production processes.

During the visit, the importance of gradually increasing localization was emphasized, including through expanded component manufacturing and stronger cooperation with local enterprises. The enterprise also plans to increase its export capacity, with a target of reaching $50mn in annual exports. Under these plans, 30% of its products are intended for neighboring countries.
During his visit, Mirziyoyev inspected the manufacturing process and examined the finished agricultural machinery. The president noted that Uzbekistan had previously relied on imported agricultural equipment, which affected its cost.
"Until now, we have relied on imported agricultural machinery, which has driven up costs. Producing modern equipment here in Kashkadarya, under our own brand, to make our farmers’ work easier was once just a dream," Mirziyoyev stated.

He also emphasized the role of locally manufactured equipment in the country's agricultural reforms.
"Localization is a natural continuation of our agricultural reforms, and we will continue to build on this progress," the president added.
