The Charity Committee for Orphan Care (Ensan) in Riyadh Region generated an economic value of SAR374,250 through volunteer work in the third quarter of 2026, with 395 volunteers contributing 5,227 hours across 212 opportunities, a yield reflecting the diversity of initiatives and the breadth of community participation in Ensan's programs and activities.
Ensan's periodic volunteer harvest report for July to September 2026 highlighted the scale of contributions made by male and female volunteers, including the time, effort, and skills they dedicated to carrying out opportunities. This reinforced community involvement in supporting Ensan's programs and advanced its efforts to develop volunteer work and maximize its social and economic returns.
Among the most prominent volunteer initiatives was one on green volunteering, which focused on environmental sustainability, raising awareness of the importance of conservation, and expanding green spaces. Another was a program aimed at refining national skills and channeling youth energies toward turning their talents and capabilities into tangible projects.
This harvest represents a continuation of Ensan's efforts to foster a culture of volunteering and broaden opportunities for community participation, while attracting talent and expertise to contribute to its programs.
These efforts support Ensan's mission of caring for and empowering orphans and strengthen the role of volunteer work as a partner in achieving sustainable development and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
