A popular Kenyan comedian, Stevo Simple Boy, has announced his separation from his partner, Brenda, after results of a DNA test showed he is not the biological father of their child.
The comedian announced the split in a statement shared via Instagram, where he revealed that his separation from Brenda follows the results, which he said had been “difficult to process”, but maintained that he would handle the situation with “dignity and respect”, while appealing to his fans and the public to respect his privacy.
Stevo Simple Boy added that he would now focus on his music career and future plans.
“Following the DNA test results, I wish to officially announce that Brenda and I are no longer together as a couple. The results have been difficult to process, but I have chosen to handle this matter with dignity and respect for everyone involved. I ask my fans and the public to respect my privacy as I navigate this chapter of my life,” the statement reads.
