As Australia’s youth strategy Engage! nears its 2027 conclusion, a survey seeks public input on priorities for its next phase.
The Office for Youth is asking Australians aged 12-25 what matters to them ahead of a refresh of the national youth strategy.
Across matters such as AI, mental health and wellbeing, climate, housing, the economy, education, and training, the government says it wants young people to play a meaningful role in shaping their future.
Minister for Youth Jess Walsh said young people had a lot to contribute and deserved to be heard.
“The government is creating more opportunities for young people to have a say in the decisions that affect their lives,” Walsh said.
