Amen Thompson is one of the rare players whose defense makes him NBA League Pass appointment viewing. His latest spectacular play on that end sealed the Houston Rockets' 2-0 start.
With seconds remaining in their matchup Friday, Victor Wembanyama had Thompson in the post with his San Antonio Spurs down two. Wembanyama turned and rose to dunk on Thompson, but the 6-foot-7 forward met the 7-foot-4 center at the rim and sent the ball packing for a game-winning block.

Thompson issued a warning to any opponents who try to posterize him again.
“I jump pretty high," Thompson said. "I wouldn’t try to keep dunking on me. But if they want to, they can.”
