(CNS): The deputy director of the department of environment has confirmed that it is investigating a report of another fish bite off Seven Mile Beach but has no details at present. The department and the coastguard along with the police are all currently at the scene just south of governor’s beach in one of the busiest areas, and where early reports suggest two people have been bitten and were taken to hospital around noon today. At this stage there is no indication what is doing the biting but people are being asked to stay out of the water. Check back to CNS later for more information.
