The Ravens’ first official injury report ahead of Sunday’s matchup against Cincinnati brought encouraging developments at quarterback and center, along with a new concern for their defensive front.
Lamar Jackson was listed as limited Wednesday with an ankle injury, while Cam Jurgens was a full participant as he continued working toward his Baltimore debut. Outside linebacker Tavius Robinson did not participate because of a pectoral injury.
Jackson’s designation was the biggest update after he missed the opening portion of practice available to reporters. Coach Jesse Minter later said Jackson got limited work, and the official report confirmed his participation.
Jackson has missed two consecutive games after leaving the Tennessee matchup at halftime on Oct. 4. In four appearances, he has completed 68 of 96 passes for 967 yards, six touchdowns and one interception, posting a 119.6 passer rating. He also has 144 rushing yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.
Jurgens practiced without a red non-contact jersey and was listed as a full participant with a concussion. Full participation is encouraging, though it does not independently confirm completion of concussion protocol or availability against Cincinnati.
Before the trade from Philadelphia, Jurgens played 242 offensive snaps this season, including 187 at left guard and 55 at center. Pro Football Focus charged him with 12 pressures allowed, including one sack, across 146 pass-blocking snaps.
Rashod Bateman was listed as limited with a shoulder injury after exiting Sunday’s loss to Cleveland. Bateman has 16 receptions for 233 yards and a touchdown, with 11 catches producing first downs. Rookie tight end Matthew Hibner also was listed as limited with a hand injury. Hibner has five catches for 70 yards and a touchdown.
Cornerback T.J. Tampa, designated for return from injured reserve, was listed as limited with rest, toe, and ankle designations. He recorded 29 tackles, two passes defensed and an interception last season. Calais Campbell joined Robinson as the only nonparticipants, receiving a rest day. Mark Andrews and Trey Hendrickson practiced fully despite hand and finger injuries, respectively. Baltimore listed 15 players overall. Thursday’s practice will provide the next indication of whether Wednesday’s progress carries into the remainder of Bengals week.
