Best Apple Watch Ultra Deals: Ultra 3, Ultra 2 and Refurbished Options

Ultra 3 Arrives at USD 799 - Apple’s rugged Watch Ultra 3 launches at a starting price of USD 799, with shipping and in-store availability beginning September 19. At launch, direct discounts are absent, and Apple remains the only place to order it directly, so savings depend almost entirely on trade-ins and retailer offers for most early buyers.

Apple’s Trade-In Offer - Apple offers up to USD 335 off the Ultra 3 when customers trade in an eligible older wearable. Buyers paying with an Apple Card also receive 3 percent cash back. The trade-in route delivers the largest savings available at launch, though the credit depends on the old device’s condition and model.

Best Buy’s Ultra 3 Deal - Best Buy also lists the Ultra 3 for preorder at USD 799 and takes up to USD 250 off with an eligible trade-in. An Apple Watch Ultra 2 earns the most credit, though older models and rival smartwatches qualify. My Best Buy Plus and Total members receive an additional 10 percent saving.

Amazon Offers No Discount - Amazon stocks several Apple Watch Ultra 3 configurations for preorder at USD 799 but offers no discounts or trade-in savings at present. Shoppers who value convenience over savings may find it suitable, though those seeking real value should compare Apple and Best Buy trade-in credits first, before making a final decision.

Ultra 2 at Best Buy - The Apple Watch Ultra 2 sells at Best Buy for USD 699, a USD 100 discount, with up to USD 250 more off through trade-ins. The retailer includes three months of Apple Music and Apple Fitness Plus. Apple no longer sells the Ultra 2 directly on its website, making retailer offers more important.

Ultra 2 at AT&T - AT&T charges USD 799 for one Apple Watch Ultra 2 but takes USD 300 off when customers buy two, which suits families. Its own trade-in programme accepts old phones, tablets and smartwatches, with discounts applied as bill credits over 36 months. CNET currently considers carrier offers among the best Ultra 2 options.

Refurbished Original Ultra - Buyers wanting a cheaper route can consider refurbished first-generation Ultra models, now discontinued. Back Market starts at USD 400, while Best Buy starts at USD 430 and adds four free months of Apple Fitness Plus and three of Apple Music. Apple has no refurbished units in stock at present. Condition varies widely.
