Jalen Hurts’ former teammate A.J. Brown has addressed his medical situation, sharing a wholesome message for the Philadelphia superstar.
Messages of support for Jalen Hurts have been pouring in from all over the NFL and the wider sports world ever since the full extent of his health issues was made public. The Eagles star is set to miss the entire season, and it could possibly seriously affect his entire career, too.
One of Hurts’ most iconic former teammates has now reached out. A.J. Brown and Jalen Hurts spent four seasons together with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2022 to 2025. The duo helped the Eagles reach two Super Bowls and won a championship in 2024.
A.J. Brown shares his love and respect for Jalen Hurts, saying he is ‘praying for him’
Brown left the Eagles under a cloud. He is now with the New England Patriots. Despite his great relationship with the QB, the star receiver was openly unhappy with his role on the team in 2025. It doesn’t seem to have affected how he views Hurts, though.
Asked about the situation, A.J. shared his support for his ex-teammate, speaking straight from the heart.
“Yeah, I’m getting the news just like you are. It’s a tough situation, man,” Brown said. “Got a lot of love and respect for him. Praying for him. You know how serious it was, all of us kind of found that out. But he’s a tough guy. He can handle anything. He can handle it. I pray that God continue to keep his hand on him. It’s a lot of love and respect for him this way. So, speedy recovery.”
Teammates and rivals alike are all hoping to see Hurts bounce back from the situation he finds himself in. It is likely to be a long journey for the Eagles quarterback, but hopefully, the Super Bowl winner will be back on the field as soon as possible.
