Welcome back, film fans! From November 13 to 15, MUBI FEST is coming to London for the very first time, two years after MUBI launched its debut UK festival at Manchester’s Aviva Studios. This time around, the programme is even more packed with cinematic gems, plus insights into the work it takes to bring them to life. And while the first tickets sold out within a couple of hours, they’re now back with a fresh batch, alongside additional events.
In case you’re unfamiliar, MUBI FEST is a weekend-long celebration of cinema, including exclusive previews of new MUBI releases and recent highlights from film festivals across the globe. Plus, there will be an extra special screening of FW Murnau’s silent classic Faust (1926), reimagined with a live soundtrack by Danny L Harle, the irreverent and cutting-edge producer who has collaborated with the likes of Charli xcx and PinkPantheress.
Attendees will also get access to a live programme featuring leading cultural voices (including some major Dazed names), as well as plenty of opportunities to eat, drink, dance and meet up with like-minded cinema lovers. But the best is yet to come...
The jewel in the proverbial crown is a Dazed x MUBI Cinema Club screening of Making Marie Antoinette by Eleanor Coppola. Released 20 years after Sofia Coppola’s seminal Marie Antoinette, the film offers an unprecedented insight into the vision and craft behind the film, from the point-of-view of the director’s mother (an accomplished documentary-maker in her own right).
Some other highlights from the programme include screenings of Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, with an introduction by Gillian Anderson; Paul Thomas Anderson’s Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall, and the Sandra Hüller-starring Rose with an introduction by director Markus Schleinzer. Classics new and old in the programme include the wickedly acerbic Drop Dead Gorgeous; Frederic Wiseman’s consumerism doc The Store; the 70s David Hockney doc A Bigger Splash, and a music event inspired by the synth-heavy soundtracks of Nicolas Winding Refn at Hackney Town Hall.
Sound good? MUBI FEST 2026 will take over Hackney Picturehouse from November 13 to November 15. An extra batch of tickets for Making Marie Antoinette has just been released, so grab one before they sell out again. More tickets to Cameron Winter At Carnegie Hall, Faust and more will go on sale at 10am on October 27.
Dazed Club members get discounted tickets. Explore the full programme for MUBI FEST 2026 here.
