OutKick founder Clay Travis has a lot to say about LeBron James’ recent controversy.
LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers completed a phenomenal comeback against the Cleveland Cavaliers during the second game of the season.
However, the sensational comeback was somewhat overshadowed by James allegedly practicing his golf swing during the US National Anthem before the game.
This led to the US President Donald Trump calling James a ‘disgrace,’ while the 41-year-old brushed off the reaction as a ‘slow news day.’ However, OutKick founder Clay Travis refused to let James’ actions go without giving an earful to the 76ers star.
Clay Travis says LeBron James ‘hates’ America
In light of James’ alleged golf swing ahead of the 76ers vs. Cavaliers clash, Travis shared his brutal reaction on X.
“LeBron would never disrespect the Chinese national anthem like he did the American national anthem this week. LeBron hates the country that made him a billionaire. His brain is broken,” Travis said.
Travis claims that if James were in China, there’s a ‘zero percent chance’ that he would have behaved in the same way as he did during the US National Anthem.
Now, many have called out the King for his questionable actions, but saying he hates the US seems like a major stretch.
After all, there are fans who think that James is at the centre of orchestrating a protest against America, which sounds ridiculous.
