The European Parliament appointed a seven-member delegation to observe Serbia's early parliamentary elections on October 25, led by Austrian Social Democrat Andreas Schieder.
The delegation includes Suncana Glavak and Gordan Bosanac of Croatia, Ingeborg ter Laak of the Netherlands, Tamas Deutsch of Hungary, Kosma Zlotowski of Poland and Helmut Brandstatter of Austria.
Schieder also observed Serbia's December 2023 parliamentary elections. The European Parliament delegation will work alongside the broader international election observation mission. Serbia invited the European Parliament to observe the vote at the last minute, after the formal deadline had passed.
