A South African ticket holder is sitting on a R112 million fortune after winning the PowerBall jackpot in draw number 1763, held on Tuesday, 13 October 2026.
The winning ticket was sold at OK Foods in Meyerton, a small industrial town in Gauteng situated roughly 18 kilometres north of Vereeniging. The player was the only person to match all the winning numbers, making them the sole jackpot winner.
The winning numbers
The five balls drawn were 3, 15, 24, 30 and 31, with the PowerBall bonus number landing on 7. All five main numbers, plus the bonus ball, are required to claim the jackpot.
The winner has not yet come forward to collect the prize.

What the winner should do now
Kgothatso "KG" Mashile, Head of Marketing at Sizekhaya Holdings, congratulated the winner and called on them to step forward. Mashile said:
"We congratulate our latest PowerBall jackpot winner on this extraordinary win. Winning R112-million is a life-changing moment, and we look forward to welcoming the winner when they come forward to claim their prize."
Mashile advised the winner to write their personal details on the back of their physical ticket straight away and store it somewhere safe. This step is considered essential in protecting the ticket before the claiming process begins.
Once the winner presents themselves, Sizekhaya Holdings will provide access to free and confidential professional counselling as well as financial guidance, all aimed at helping them handle the enormous change in their circumstances responsibly.
Mashile added:
"An extraordinary win like this brings incredible possibilities, but it is important for the winner to approach this new chapter with care and make informed decisions that will help secure their future."
For now, the identity of the Meyerton ticket holder remains unknown.
