A second Houthi strike in two days has hit Saudi Arabia’s King Khalid International Airport.
The first strike on Saturday killed at least 13 people and injured 308 others, while Saudi Arabia's civil aviation authority said there had been injuries in the latest attack (BBC).
The Houthis in Yemen targeted the airport with a mix of ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones, and warned airlines and passengers against using Saudi Arabian airports and airspace (BBC).
It comes as Saudi Arabia has increased its military involvement in Yemen in recent weeks, launching strikes against the Houthis and backing a Yemeni government counteroffensive after the group seized strategic territory along the Red Sea coast last month (Reuters).
