The majority of Los Angeles Rams fans likely do not want to trade Matthew Stafford, but over 28% of fans surveyed would be open to the trade. That number is likely far higher than compared to the beginning of the season when Stafford and the Rams were expected to win the Super Bowl.
At 2-4, the Rams could get hot, but as their injuries mount it’s harder and harder to see this team competing in January, which opens the door for the Rams and their fans to think about moving Stafford.
If the Rams keep losing, why would Stafford want to stick around?
If you place a bet on the Rams to win it all before the season you can keep riding that, but if you want to change it up you can pick another winner at FanDuel.
Will J.J. McCarthy be the first quarterback traded before the deadline?
This is a bit of a trick questions as McCarthy was already traded this year from the Minnesota Vikings to the New York Giants. Would McCarthy be traded again? According to the survey data below, 37% of fans surveyed think McCarthy is likely to be moved. Justin Herbert is next likeliest with 27% of the vote.
Herbert is an interesting name to watch in a trade if the Los Angeles Chargers keep losing.
For the Giants, as it currently stands New York has a real chance to make the playoffs by winning the NFC East. McCarthy is being given a chance to earn the starting spot for the rest of the season, if not longer. In fact, you can check out FanDuel to bet on McCarthy’s next game.
McCarthy and the Giants face the Houston Texans in Week 7.
McCarthy’s a former first round pick, so he has the talent if you want to take the over on his stats. He’s also been a bit of a bust so far, so you could bet the under if you think things keep trending that way for McCarthy.
You know where to bet, FanDuel.
Are you confident the Rams are headed in the right direction?
Only 20% of fans surveyed are confident the Rams are moving in the right direction. That confidence may be blind faith or the belief that the Rams can make a run in 2026. Perhaps some of the fans think this team is built to bounce back next season if the current year ends without a Super Bowl.
The future of the Rams in 2026 doesn’t look pretty. Davante Adams will be out at least a month. Myles Garett still isn’t back. Puka Nacua may not play in Week 7. At this point, the injuries piling up for the Rams rivals the San Francisco 49ers.
In theory, the Rams will have players like Trent McDuffie, Jaylen Watson, Garrett and others for years. So, there is a world this team looks better in 2027 than 2026, but there’s no guarantee.
There seems a lot more to be concerned about with the Rams than things to feel confident in. A win on Sunday against the Las Vergas Raiders could change that. Another loss, should have the confidence meeting falling even lower.
