A crack cocaine dealer who hid drugs in his buttocks when caught by police has been jailed for six years.
Martin Southall was sentenced at Hull Crown Court on October 19 after admitting to possession with intent to supply class A crack cocaine, and class A heroin, as well as possession of criminal property.
The 44-year-old was released from prison on licence in May after serving part of a sentence for drug supply, but was spotted by police on August 13 carrying out a suspected drug deal in Thorpepark Road in Hull.
He was detained and searched, with police finding two mobile phones and a large sum of cash.
Southall, of Ryde Street in Hull, was strip searched while in custody and produced a large bag of drugs which police said was “concealed between his buttocks”.

During his interviews, Southall admitted to being involved in drug dealing again and he was subsequently charged and remanded into custody the following day.
Detective Constable Heather Butler, who was the officer in charge of the case for Humberside Police, said: “Southall has shown a clear disregard for the law and the harm that class A drugs cause within our communities. I’m reassured that he is now behind bars again and left to face the consequences of his foolish actions.
“I hope this sentence sends a clear message to anyone else involved in the supply of drugs that it’s only a matter of time before it’s your turn to face the music, and we will do everything in our power to bring you before the courts.”
