The Khulna district unit of Bashundhara Shuvosangho distributed essential food commodities among underprivileged Sanatan families on Friday at Gallamari Rishipalli in Khulna.
Organised to promote communal harmony and empathy, packages containing essential grocery items--including flour, sugar, whole wheat, lentils, and salt--were handed over to disadvantaged households.
The relief items were distributed by Bashundhara Shuvosangho Khulna district unit President Bipul Roy Chowdhury and General Secretary GM Abu Musa. Sanatan Bidyarthi Sangsad General Secretary Lecturer Suman Kumar Das and Shuvosangho Organising Secretary Mostafizur Rahman attended the drive alongside volunteers and members.
Addressing the distribution, Bipul Roy Chowdhury said, "Bashundhara Shuvosangho consistently strives to stand by ordinary people. This initiative goes beyond food assistance; it aims to spread the message of communal harmony, empathy, and fraternity. Our goal is to ensure every individual in society experiences solidarity and support."
GM Abu Musa stated that serving humanity remains the organisation's primary objective, noting that the platform will sustain its welfare initiatives to reinforce social cohesion.
Commending the humanitarian effort, Lecturer Suman Kumar Das thanked the organisation and urged activists to continue supporting vulnerable communities across various walks of life.
Recipients expressed satisfaction with the support, while organisers reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing welfare drives under their core motto, "Standing by everyone in noble causes."
