Minister vows action against delays in Gilakaladindi Fishing Harbour works

Mines and Geology Minister Kollu Ravindra expressed dissatisfaction over the delay in completion of Gilakaladindi fishing harbour works after he made a surprise visit to the harbour on late Thursday night.

He assured the contractor will face action against further delay in taking up the harbour works, stating that the harbour will benefit many people, particularly fishermen in the region.

The Minister directed the officials to submit a report on the progress of the works immediately. “I will review the Gilakaladindi Fishing Harbour works regularly. Action would be taken against the contractor, if the works are delayed further,” Mr. Ravindra said.
