Meet The Wild Wild West star Robert Conrad's 8 children – including actor son who appeared on Star Trek: Voyager

Robert Conrad became quite the TV legend in the '60s when he starred as secret service agent James T. West in The Wild Wild West.

The actor went onto record music as "Bob Conrad" and even hosted a national radio show. But, Robert, who passed away at 84 in 2020, is remembered for more than just his acting and singing chops. The Hawaiian Eye star left behind eight children, including a son who followed in his footsteps and is an actor.

Joan, 73

Robert was just 17 when he married his first wife, Joan Kenlay Conrad, in 1952, the same year they welcomed their first kid, daughter Joan. Robert's oldest daughter was inspired by her dad and went on to work in film and TV. Joan was the executive producer of films High Sierra Search and Rescue. Outside of work, Joan is married to husband Timothy Maclachlan Erwin.

Nancy, 72

Two years after Robert and Joan had their first daughter, they welcomed Nancy in 1954. Like her dad, Nancy worked as an actor too, starring alongside Robert in a few projects. Nancy appeared in the TV series Black Sheep Squadron as an army nurse in the 70s. She is like her big sister and embraced a more private life with her husband Norton Flynn.

Christy

Robert and Joan's third daughter, Christy, lives a very private life.

Christian, 62

Robert's oldest son, Christian Robert Conrad, was born on September 17, 1964. He joined the family business and became an actor, best known for starring in Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Christian most recently appeared in an episode of Castle alongside Nathan Fillion.

Shane, 55

Robert and Joan welcomed their fifth child, Shane, in 1971. Like his dad and many of his siblings, Shane is an actor and producer. He works primarily as a voice actor and has credits on shows like The Hunting Wives, Silicon Valley, and Nashville.

Kaja

Robert and Joan divorced in 1977. He went on to marry actress LaVelda Fann in 1983. The couple welcomed three children together. The Wild Wild West actor and LaVelda raised their daughters in Bear Valley, a rural, mountain community west of Yosemite National Park.

Their oldest daughter, Kaja, lives a very private life.

Camille, 37

The couple's oldest daughter, Camille, is an athlete and competitive skier. She recently reflected on her childhood to The 50 Most Interesting Athletes, saying: "As adventure is concerned, it was kind of a paradise in a lot of ways. We were given a lot of autonomy, very young. We grew up driving snowmobiles. We would take ourselves from the house to school. My dad would come out and start a 1985 Yamaha Phazer and send Chelsea and I to school. And our playground was the national forest."

These days, Camille is also a motorcyclist who said that, "Mourning my dad was the closest I've ever felt to him."

Chelsea

Robert's youngest daughter, Chelsea, briefly pursued a career as a jazz singer before studying Interior Design and Interior Architecture at FIT and The Academy of Art University. In 2020, Chelsea founded CirDeco, an interior design studio with a mission to inspire a more thoughtful and sustainable approach to living and design, per the company's website. "I saw the need to design consciously with our depleting resources in mind," Chelsea said about starting the studio.
