SHAH ALAM: Singer and chef Datuk Fazley Yaakob has shared his appreciation for his partner, cosmetics entrepreneur Datuk Seri Vida, praising her caring ways after a recent injury.
The couple were spotted together at the Anugerah Melodi Terhangat 2026 (AMT 2026), held at the Selangor International Trade Centre (SITC) last night.
Speaking in a news report yesterday, Fazley, 48, revealed that Vida had returned home earlier than expected from a business trip to Ipoh just to look after his injured leg and accompany him to the clinic.
Expressing his gratitude for her compassionate gesture, he said: "I hurt my leg while playing badminton. I have a doctor's appointment this week, and it will determine whether I can participate in a coming tournament or otherwise."
Vida—whose real name is Datuk Seri Hasmiza Othman, 55—previously mentioned on Threads that she rushed back from Ipoh to check on him as soon as she heard about the badminton injury.
Recalling the moment, Vida said she was shocked by the news and told herself she "had to come home fast".
"I always make sure he's doing well, and vice-versa. That's why I rushed to his side and accompanied him to AMT 2026.
