SWOONWORTHY SWIFT

Taylor Swift has always loved romance; “Love Story” is one of her biggest hits, after all, and she's also got an album called Lover under her belt. Love is part of Swift's brand, and for the 2026 Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, the recently married Grammy winner leaned allllll the way in with soft, romantic hair and makeup we're still thinking about a few days later.
Swift looked like the “Love Story” princess all grown up at the Gala, with featherlight makeup—including a very rare nude-pink lip!—and a half-up curled bob. The artist cut her hair not long ago, and the Gala gave us a good look at its current dark-blonde color and length, which hits a few inches above her collarbone—still firmly in “bob” territory. The top layers were pulled back and away from her face, then pinned behind her ears to show off major diamond earrings, and the lengths were loosely curled. Swift's signature bangs were brushed to one side, swooping over one brow.

The star's makeup was also soft and delicate (yes, that was an intentional reference!), with her favorite cat-eye liner present and accounted for as usual. But Swift did change things up a bit, pairing a peachy-rose blush with a matching lip. The lip color of choice is a big departure from Swift, who typically cycles between red, cinnamon orange, and recently, a pretty rose. (She did swipe on some red for her performance later that evening, and was wearing it at the Chiefs game the next day too.) If you zoom in, it also appears she's wearing some body shimmer to reflect the camera flash and offset her strapless blue-gray custom Dior gown. While we may never see her wedding pics (of course, it's her right to keep them private!), the Academy Museum Gala glam is a pitch-perfect example of classic bridal beauty.
