Las Colinas wins national award again
Las Colinas Golf & Country Club has been named Spain’s Leading Villa Resort at the 2026 World Travel Awards, adding another international honour as it celebrates its 15th anniversary.
The Orihuela Costa resort received the award during the European World Travel Awards ceremony held in Kotor, Montenegro, on October 17.
It marks the tenth time Las Colinas has received the award for Spain’s Leading Villa Resort, alongside seven previous honours in the European category.
Award marks resort’s 15th anniversary
Gonzalo Valdes, Real Estate Customer Director, said the latest recognition reflected 15 years of work focused on service, attention to detail and the efforts of the resort’s team.
The latest award therefore comes during a milestone year for Las Colinas, which has developed its residential, sporting, leisure and dining facilities over the past decade and a half.
Resort combines golf, dining and Mediterranean setting
Las Colinas is set within a 330-hectare valley surrounded by hills and combines residential properties with leisure, sporting and dining facilities.
Its development has focused on low-density housing and contemporary architecture designed to integrate with the surrounding Mediterranean landscape.
Facilities include an 18-hole golf course, the unik, il Palco and umawa restaurants and WOW Beach, its beach club on the Mediterranean coast.
The resort also offers a range of sporting, gastronomic and wellbeing experiences for residents and visitors.
World Travel Awards celebrate tourism industry
The World Travel Awards are now in their 33rd year and recognise businesses and destinations across the international tourism industry.
For Las Colinas, the 2026 title adds to a collection of previous national and European awards and gives the Orihuela Costa resort another international recognition during its 15th anniversary year.
