The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has made it easier for citizens to change their photographs and permanent addresses on Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) through the PakID mobile application.
According to NADRA, applicants can submit requests from home without visiting a registration center. To use the facility, citizens must log in to the PakID app, select “Identity Card” from the home screen, and choose “Myself” or “My Blood Relatives,” depending on whose CNIC needs updating. They must then select “Update Card,” make the required changes, and complete the application process through the app.
The facility aims to simplify the CNIC update process and provide citizens with a more convenient way to modify their identity card information online.
