VFRDC to conduct training on vegetable cultivation to seed production

The Vegetable and Fruit Research and Development Centre (VFRDC) will open a theoretical and practical training course covering vegetable cultivation through to seed production starting 1 November.

The course will run for four months until 28 February, 2027 at the VFRDC located in Yemon, Hlegu Township, Yangon Region.

Organized by the Horticulture, Vegetable, and Plant Biotechnology Division of the Department of Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation, the training will provide both classroom instruction and hands-on practical experience on producing high-quality seeds from vegetable cultivation.

Anyone interested in attending can register starting 20 October. Admission will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited class capacity.
