JAKARTA: Actress Cinta Laura has sparked rumours that wedding bells may be ringing soon, after a video showing her trying on a bridal gown went viral online.
The 33-year-old Indonesian star became a hot topic on social media after a Threads user posted a short clip, claiming to have spotted her fitting a white wedding dress at a boutique recently.
The post quickly led fans to wonder if she is getting ready to walk down the aisle.
But the video also sparked backlash from online users, who felt recording and posting such a personal moment without her permission was unfair.
Many urged the account owner to take down the clip, saying she deserves privacy—especially for such a special occasion.
"Please delete it and respect her privacy. If the dress is really for her wedding, it is something very meaningful to the bride. Don't spoil her happiness," one netizen wrote.
Another added: "It would be a pity if the dress were really going to be worn on her wedding day and it had already been revealed beforehand. Hopefully, it is only for a film shoot. Respect her privacy."
So far, Cinta has not commented on whether the video is real or if she is actually planning a wedding.
It also remains unknown whether the gown was for her big day or simply for an acting role.
