New Hampshire Motor Speedway is auctioning off special Kyle Busch banners that commemorate the late two-time Cup Series champion’s greatest moments at “The Magic Mile.” Proceeds from the auction are going to the Bundle of Joy Fund, a non-profit organization founded by Kyle and his wife, Samantha, to help pay for the high costs of in vitro fertilization (IVF) and spread infertility awareness.
Kyle Busch, NASCAR‘s winningest overall driver who died suddenly last May, competed in 34 Cup Series races at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Busch was a three-time Cup winner at “The Magic Mile,” with victories in July 2006, July 2015, and September 2017.
New Hampshire Motor Speedway Auctioning Off Kyle Busch Banners
During the Aug. 21-23 NASCAR race weekend at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, banners hung around the 1.0-mile track in honor of Kyle Busch. Now, the banners are being auctioned off for a great cause.
Five banners will be auctioned with all proceeds going to the Bundle of Joy. One of the banners is a massive “8” memorial banner with a collage of Busch’s greatest New Hampshire moments.
Fourth other banners being auctioned highlight specific “Magic Mile” moments of Busch. Those include a picture of Busch, Samantha and the couple’s son, Brexton, in victory lane after Kyle won the July 2015 Cup race.
Two other banners pay homage to a pair of his O’Reilly Auto Parts Series wins at New Hampshire, a track “Rowdy” won at his six times in the series.
The other banner is a photo from a Craftsman Truck Series race Busch was the victor in.
“Remembering Rowdy. These one-of-a-kind banners celebrated Kyle’s memorable moments at “The Magic Mile” during NASCAR weekend. Now, you have the opportunity to own a piece of that legacy while supporting a meaningful cause. Proceeds benefit Samantha and Kyle Busch’s Bundle of Joy Fund. View the banners and place your bid,” NHMS wrote.
A Look at Kyle Busch’s Remarkable NASCAR Statistics
It has been nearly five months since the sudden and tragic death of one of NASCAR’s greatest icons. Busch was NASCAR’s winningest driver across the top three series with 63 Cup wins, a record 102 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series wins, and a record 69 Craftsman Truck Series wins.
Busch was synonymous with his 15-year stint with Joe Gibbs Racing from 2008-2022. In that time, Busch captured two Cup Series championships in 2015 and 2019 and nabbed 56 career Cup wins. “Rowdy” also won an O’Reilly Auto Parts Series title for JGR in 2009.
Busch moved to Richard Childress Racing to pilot the No. 8 Chevrolet in 2023. The Las Vegas native wheeled the RCR machine to three victories in 2023, with his victory at Gateway in June of that year ultimately being his final.
