Cincinnati-based Christ Hospital Health Network has received a $50 million commitment from the Farmer Family Foundation to support the modernization and expansion of facilities at its Mt. Auburn campus.
Three things to know:
1. The donation, announced during the health system’s Oct. 17 gala, is the largest philanthropic commitment in its history, according to an Oct. 19 news release.
2. The Cincinnati-based Farmer Family Foundation has supported several projects at The Christ Hospital, including the development of its Joint & Spine Center and the transformation of its cardiovascular intensive care unit.
3. In 2025, the foundation made a $15 million investment in The Christ Hospital Heart & Vascular Institute to support cardiovascular technology, clinical innovation and access to care.
The Christ Hospital Health Network operates an acute care hospital in Mt. Auburn, a remote hospital location in Liberty Township, eight ambulatory outpatient centers and dozens of medical offices throughout the region.
