Sean “Diddy” Combs’ loved ones are shutting down “completely false” reports he got into a fight with a Jamaican drug lord over the weekend.
Loren LoRosa told “Breakfast Club” listeners Thursday that she “spoke to a family member of” the embattled rapper’s family who insisted “there was not a fight at all” despite TMZ’s claim otherwise.
The denial comes after Combs, 56, was sent to a hospital Saturday for a head injury he incurred during his stay at the Fort Dix prison in New Jersey.
After Page Six reported Tuesday that Combs hit his head on a bunk bed, TMZ alleged he got into an altercation with kingpin “Dudus,” whose real name is Christopher Coke.
LoRosa, however, pointed out that while the outlet claimed the alleged altercation occurred during his daily break, the music mogul is “guarded” when outside his Special Housing Unit (SHU.)
She acknowledged that Combs’ family is “not 100 percent certain what” caused the Grammy winner’s wound — but they are insisting “it definitely wasn’t anything crazy.”
LoRosa noted that Combs “was brought right back to jail,” where he “is currently sitting right now.”
She added that the former record executive’s loved ones are “upset” at the privacy breach as “no one should know he was taken to the hospital.”
Combs’ rep told Page Six his team has “no way of independently verifying” the alleged fight” — and that their primary “concern is for Sean’s health and well-being.”
A rep for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, meanwhile, insisted to us on Wednesday that an altercation between Combs and “Dudus” “did not happen.”
This is a developing story…
