RBL Bank mobilised $3.4 billion (₹32,472 crore) through the Reserve Bank of India’s concessional FCNR(B) swap facility by August 31.
Speaking during the post-earnings conference call, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer R. Subramaniakumar said the bank aims to deploy its remaining liquidity fully into the wholesale banking segment to strengthen its ability to underwrite larger exposures over the medium term.
“The Indian economy continues to demonstrate resilience, supported by robust domestic demand, healthy services activity, improving manufacturing momentum, and sustained investments,” he said, adding the overall medium-term operating environment within India remains favourable and offers meaningful potential for growth.
Subramaniakumar said system-wide banking asset quality remained robust and that the bank was constructive about the outlook for the banking sector.
