The newest baby to join the Royal Family's ranks arrived just a few short months ago, as the third child of Princess Eugenie. Now, to mark an important milestone, the Princess has shared never-seen footage of her baby in an emotional post.
To mark 8 years of marriage to her husband, Jack Brooksbank, Princess Eugenie posted an adorable video of Jack rocking their newborn daughter, Adelaide. In a post to celebrate their wedding anniversary, she wrote, 'Happy 8 years married my love', adding she 'couldn't have wished for a better partner.'
In the clip, Jack can be seen stroking his daughter's hair to music. But, in the caption, Princess Eugenie added context, writing, 'What you can't hear in this video is Jack asking our daughter if she likes her head being massaged that way... so thoughtful, caring, and best Dada there is to our 3.'
The couple announced their child to the world with an Instagram account, revealing they'd had a girl but didn't release the name they had chosen until two weeks later. The couple chose the name Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank, which paid tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II as well as others.
In a caption they explained their daughter was 'named after three people we love and admire past and present, including her Great-Grandmother who we hold close in our hearts. Her name is part of English and Portuguese history, two places we love and call home.'
Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank on 12 October, 2018 and the couple share three children. They have two sons; August and Ernest, and now their daughter, Adelaide.
