The first conclusions reached as a result of the expedition made by Dr. Louis Sambon, during the spring, summer and autumn of 1925 to study cancer from the epidemiological standpoint have now been published in the Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. Among his conclusions is the striking one that “cancer houses” and “cancer areas,” though they may be misnomers, definitely exist.
